Reliance Jio has rolled out its True 5G services in Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam, Tirumala, Vijayawada and Guntur. The Jio 5G services are currently available in several Indian cities, including all the districts of Gujarat, Varanasi, Mumbai, Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Faridabad and Pune.

Jio 5G services in Andhra Pradesh

Jio customers in Visakhapatnam, Tirumala, Vijayawada and Guntur can take advantage of the Jio Welcome Offer, which entitles them to Unlimited Data at up to 1 Gbps at no additional cost. Jio said it plans to add more cities from the state to be 5G-ready by January 2023. No special 5G plans have been rolled out yet and users can enjoy 5G services at the same rate as 4G till they are.

Jio 5G services: Here’s how to activate it on a smartphone

Users must open the “Settings” app on their smartphone, find and choose “Mobile network” or a similar setting, and then activate Jio 5G. After that, they must choose the Jio SIM on which they want to activate 5G. Then choose “Preferred network type” and “5G” from the options.
