LG V40 ThinQ gets certified by Korea’s NRR agency; launch expected soon

“The V40 ThinQ is expected to be a flagship offering that will come equipped with the Snapdragon 845 SoC”

LG’s upcoming smartphone, the V40 ThinQ, has been making waves on the interwebs lately. Most recently, renders of the alleged handset were leaked that revealed that the offering will come with three cameras on the rear and a dual-camera setup up front. Now, it has been certified by National Radio Research agency suggesting that the V40 ThinQ’s launch is just around the corner.

The agency lists the smartphone with the model name LM-V409N, which is said to belong to the V40 ThinQ — successor of the LG V30 ThinQ (first impressions). The certification website further reveals that the handset will come with LTE support for the 4G network. Apart from this, there’s nothing else that has been mentioned by the listing.

However, earlier rumours suggest that the LG V40 ThinQ will be a flagship offering with Snapdragon 845 SoC ticking at its core. The handset will flaunt a notch-toting P-OLED display with thin bezels all around. Software-wise, it is said to boot the latest Android 9 Pie out of the box.

While LG hasn’t revealed when it’s planning to take covers off the V40 ThinQ, the handset is expected to launch on November 16th. We will bring you more updates as and when they emerge, so watch this space.
