Motorola launched its flagship smartphone, the Motorola Edge+, in India on Tuesday. The newest high-end Motorola phone touts a curved AMOLED Endless Edge display with a 90Hz refresh rate, the Snapdragon 865 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery and 108MP triple rear cameras. Other features include 5G connectivity, wireless charging support, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The handset runs near-stock-Android skin and retains the 3.5mm audio jack. The Motorola Edge+ price in India is on the premium side and it will compete against the likes of the OnePlus 8 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, and iPhone 11 Pro in India.

Motorola Edge+ price in India and sale date

The Motorola Edge+ price in India is set at Rs 74,999 and the smartphone will go on pre-order staring today on Flipkart and offline retail stores across India. The Motorola Edge+ is expected to go on sale in India starting May 26th. ICICI Bank credit card users can avail Rs 7,500 cashback on the handset as part of early bird offer. The handset comes in Thunder Grey and Smoky Sangria colour options.

Coming to the Motorola Edge+ specifications, it features a curved 6.7-inch full-HD+ OLED Endless Edge display with extreme curved sides and a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen bears a punch-hole cutout on the top left corner for the selfie camera. The phone is powered by the 7nm octa-core Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage onboard. There is no option to expand it further using a microSD card slot.

The triple rear cameras of Motorola Edge+ comprises 108MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 16MP 117-degree ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8MP telephoto lens that comes with OIS support and provides 3x optical zoom output. There is an additional Time of Flight (ToF) sensor as well. For selfies and video calling, the phone rocks a 25MP shooter on the front with f/2.0 aperture.

The Motorola Edge+ houses a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. It runs on Android 10 and features an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity options include 5G support, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BDS.
