Nokia 9 PureView India launch teased by HMD Global

Nokia Mobile India has officially started teasing the Nokia 9 PureView, hinting that the phone’s launch in the country might be around the corner. This is the first time the brand has posted a teaser video of the Nokia 9 PureView since its announcement at the MWC event last month. However, there’s no launch date mentioned as the company closes the video with the typical ‘Stay Tuned’ tag.

Nokia 9 PureView specifications

The Nokia 9 PureView sports a 5.99-inch QHD+ pOLED PureDisplay with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and HDR10 support which lets you play HDR content on the device from YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. It packs 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone runs on Android Pie out of the box.

As for the optics, the penta-lens setup comprises two 12MP RGB sensors and three 12MP monochrome lenses, all of which feature autofocus and f/1.8 aperture. The device captures uncompressed RAW images in DNG format, which you can use to post-edit on applications like Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. There is a 20MP front-facing shooter for selfies. The Nokia 9 PureView has an optical in-display fingerprint sensor and packs 3,320mAh battery with wireless and fast charging support.
