OnePlus Watch was launched in 2021, and now the company is preparing to launch the second generation of the watch. While recent speculations hinted that the OnePlus Watch 2 might be launched alongside the OnePlus 12 on January 23rd, a tipster has now stated that the Watch 2 will be revealed next month at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona, Spain.

OnePlus Watch 2 launch details tipped

On X (formerly Twitter), tipster Max Jambor said the OnePlus Watch 2 will be launched at the MWC 2024, which will begin on February 26th and will end on February 29th.
It is worth noting that the OnePlus Watch didn’t run on Google’s Wear OS. However, the OnePlus Watch 2 is tipped to come with Wear OS.

It’s not clear yet if the OnePlus Watch 2 will operate using Wear OS 3 or Wear OS 4. But the same tipster recently mentioned that the Watch 2 will run on WearOS 4.
Meanwhile, some earlier reports mentioned that OnePlus intends to continue using a custom operating system based on RTOS (Real-Time Operating System).

A recent report stated that the OnePlus Watch 2 will have a speaker grill on one side and two buttons on the opposite side.
In terms of display, the Watch 2 will include a 1.43-inch AMOLED circular display. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset.

The Watch 2 might come with features such as heart rate, SpO2 monitoring, sleep tracking, calorie tracking, and various other functionalities.
The OnePlus Watch 2 recently appeared on the BIS website as well, indicating that its launch in India might be approaching soon.

On the other hand, OnePlus is all set to unveil the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R in India and as well as global markets. It is worth mentioning that ahead of the official launch date, a tipster recently came with the rumoured price of the flagship OnePlus 12.

As per the report, the starting price for the OnePlus 12 will be Rs 64,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant. The higher-end option, featuring 16GB+512GB, will be priced at Rs 69,999. To provide context, the OnePlus 11 was launched at Rs 56,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant, with the price going up to Rs 61,999 for the 16GB+256GB variant.
