POCO M2 is the company’s mid-range offering that launched in India back in September and it looks like the brand may soon launch a ‘Reloaded’ variant of it. A snippet code has been found inside MIUI 12 with the POCO M2 Reloaded moniker, as reported by XDA Developers courtesy of XDA Forums member Kacper Skrzypek. Unfortunately, not much else is known about the phone at the moment and it’s unclear whether the brand will indeed launch the phone. Considering how POCO has been upping its game in the mid-range and budget segment, we can speculate the POCO M2 Reloaded launch in India could be soon.

POCO M2 specifications
To recall the POCO M2 specifications, it sports a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera and Corning Gorilla Glass layer. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 10-based MIUI 12 custom skin on top and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, IR Blaster, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. The phone has a P2i coating for splash resistance.
Moving to the cameras, the POCO M2 features a quad-camera setup at the back with a 13MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. There is an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
POCO M2 price in India
POCO M2 is currently available at Rs 9,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and Rs 10,499 for the 6GB+128GB variant. The handset is available in Pitch Black, Slate Blue, and Brick Red colour options.
