“The new prices of the Realme 5 Pro variants are already reflecting on the e-retail channels”
Realme 5 Pro has received a permanent price cut of Rs 1,000 across variants in both the offline and online market in India. While the handset was made available at even lower prices during some of the festive sales last year, if you have been waiting for the prices to drop this year, here is the good news for you. The Realme 5 Pro 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant, which was earlier retailing at Rs 13,999 is now available for Rs 12,999 in the country. The 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant of the phone, which had a price tag of Rs 14,999 earlier, will now be retailing for Rs 13,999. Finally, the Realme 5 Pro variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will now be available for Rs 15,999, instead of Rs 16,999 in the country.
Realme 5 Pro specifications
Let’s jump into the specifications, the Realme 5 Pro sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ display that comes with a waterdrop notch design to act as a home to the selfie camera. The phone runs Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.0 out of the box. Driving the phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 712 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB user-expandable storage. To keep the lights on for the Realme 5 Pro, there is a 4,035mAh battery with 20W VOOC fast charging support. For security, the handset features a fingerprint scanner at the back. The colour options available for the handset are Crystal Green and Sparkling Blue.
In terms of optics, the Realme 5 Pro comes with a quad-camera setup at the back, which is headlined by a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor, assisted by an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a 119-degree field-of-view wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel depth-sensing telephoto lens, and a 2-megapixel Super Macro lens. Notably, the Super Macro Lens comes with a “microscopic” focal length that is capable of taking images of the subjects placed as close as 4cm from the lens. For selfies and video-calling, there is a 16-megapixel shooter on the phone.
