The release couldn’t come at a better time as both Reliance Jio and Airtel plan on rolling out 5G connectivity by mid-2021. If the Chinese pricing is anything to go by, the Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro will be quite competitively priced. We can expect the Realme X7 price in India to be under Rs 20,000, making it the most affordable 5G-ready smartphone in the country. Starting with the Realme X7 specifications, we will get a 6.4-inch FHD Super AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 600 nits. Realme has confirmed via its official website that it will run a MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset that can offer up to 2.3Gbps speeds on compatible 5G networks. We’re likely looking at two variants: one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and the other with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The company has also stated that the vanilla X7 will feature a 4,310mAh battery that supports fast chargin over a USB Type-C port at 50W.
Moving on to the camera side of things, the Realme X7 will come with a triple-camera setup featuring a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. A 16MP selfie camera will be located at the top-left corner of the screen. An under-display fingerprint scanner will take care of biometric authentication. Wireless connectivity options could include Bluetooth 5.1 and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. Lastly, the Realme X7 will run Android 10 customized with Realme UI on top.

As its name somewhat suggests, the Realme X7 Pro specifications will be objectively better than that of its sibling. For starters, it will feature the more powerful Dimensity 1000+ chipset. Storage and memory configurations will max out at 256GB and 8GB, respectively. The Realme X7 Pro will also ship with a 4,500mAh battery that can be charged at 65W. Its 6.5-inch FHD AMOLED screen has a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Realme’s dedicated landing page for the Realme X7 Pro tells us that it will come with four rear cameras. The setup will be identical to that of the Realme X7, with a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, with an additional 2MP portrait lens thrown in the mix. However, the selfie camera gets a massive upgrade, as it is tipped to use a 32MP module.
