We have now discovered that the Redmi K40 will be launched globally as a 5G POCO phone. The information is based on an IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) listing, which shows us the M2012K11AG (global Redmi K40 variant) being certified as a POCO smartphone. POCO has, on several occasions, launched Redmi smartphones as its own. The Redmi K30 was launched the POCO X2 globally, and it looks like the Redmi K40 will also be rebranded as a POCO 5G phone.
