Redmi K60 Ultra has been in the works for quite some time and as the name suggests this will arrive as a costlier version in the Redmi K60 lineup. While we wait for the announcement, the handset has appeared on China’s 3C certification platform, revealing fast charging support. While the Redmi K60 Ultra might not debut in India, the handset will probably be rebranded under POCO for global markets.

Redmi K60 Ultra appears on China’s 3C

The Redmi K60 Ultra appears on China’s 3C certification, as spotted by Mukul Sharma.
The listing shows the phone will come with 120W max fast charging support.
The bundled charging brick will have the model number 23078RKD5C.
Unfortunately, not much else is revealed from China’s 3C certification.

The Redmi K60 Ultra will arrive as a successor to the Redmi K50 Ultra that debuted in the summer of 2022. Recent leaks have suggested the Redmi phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. Although earlier rumours pointed the phone will come with 100W charging, that doesn’t seem to be true now with the latest 3C certification.

In comparison, the Redmi K60 Pro shipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC and 120W fast charging. We should know more details about the phone soon.

Redmi K50 Ultra specifications

Display: The Redmi K50 Ultra sports a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
Processor: The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset paired with Adreno GPU.
RAM and Storage: 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
OS: The Redmi K50 Ultra runs on Android 12-based MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box.
Connectivity: Connectivity options include 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (L1 + L5), NavIC, USB Type-C, and NFC.
Cameras: The Redmi K50 Ultra comes with a triple camera setup on the back, comprising a 108MP Samsung HM6 primary sensor with OIS and LED flash, an 8MP UW sensor, and a 2MP macro. There is a 20MP Sony IMX596 sensor on the front for selfies and video chats.
