After the launch of Samsung Galaxy A51 in India, the Galaxy A41 seems to be the next Galaxy A-series smartphone in Samsung's pipeline. The handset has allegedly been spotted on benchmarking site Geekbench with model number SM-A415F. The listing further reveals that the Galaxy A41 will be powered by MediaTek's mid-range 1.70GHz octa-core Helio P65 chipset, which powers the Vivo S1 smartphone as well. The Samsung Galaxy A41 will come equipped with at least 4GB of RAM, while Android 10 OS, which will have Samsung's custom One UI 2.0 skin running on top, will take care of its software side of things.
As for the Geekbench score, the Galaxy A41 scores 1,684 points in the single-core test and 5,403 points in the multi-core test. That's all the information the listing has managed to reveal. The Samsung Galaxy A41 will succeed the Galaxy A40 from last year and will slot below the Galaxy A51 smartphone, which is powered by Samsung's Exynos 9611 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM + 128GB storage for the base variant.
To recall, the Samsung Galaxy A51 ships with a quad-camera setup that includes a 48MP high-resolution primary sensor, a 5MP macro lens, a 12MP wide-angle lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. The Samsung Galaxy A41, on the other hand, is tipped to sport 48MP triple rear cameras. The other two camera units remain unspecified, but upfront is expected to be a 25MP shooter instead of 32MP sensor for selfies and video calling.
In terms of battery capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A41 will reportedly house a 3,500mAh battery pack. The handset may also come with fast charging support and a couple of storage options: 64GB/ 128GB. Other details about the phone, including design, display size, and fingerprint sensor, remain unknown at the moment.
