The Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) comes with 8MP rear and 5MP front cameras, both with LED flash units
Last month, in association with @OnLeaks, 91mobiles revealedexclusivefactory CAD-based renders and a 360-degree video of theSamsung Galaxy J2 Pro (2018).Samsung has now gone ahead and quietly listed the handset on its Vietnamese website. From the looks of it, the exclusive renders were pretty spot on.
Coming to the spec sheet of the device, the Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) ships with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. On to the performance side of things, there is a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC running the show. Backing the processor further is 1.5GB RAM and 16GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. On the software side, the device ships with Android Nougat pre-installed on the handset. The smartphone has a polycarbonate build with removable back panel and physicalhome button.
In terms of imaging, the Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) comes with an 8-megapixel camera on the rear panel and 5-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. Both cameras on the device have been accompanied byLED flash for enhanced low light imaging. There is a 2,600mAh battery powering the handset through a day. On the connectivity front, it offers dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack, microUSB and GPS. The handset also offers additional utility features like Private Folder, Dual social media apps and Wi-Fi Convenience.
Samsung is offering the Galaxy J2 Pro (2018) in three hues Black, Blue and Gold. It has been priced at 32,90,000 VND by the brand in Vietnam, which is roughly Rs 9,200. While Samsung has not confirmed the global launch of the device, it is expected to arrive in other markets including India in the next few weeks.
