Samsung Galaxy M42 5G launch seems to be getting closer. An unannounced Samsung smartphone bearing the model number SM-M426B/DS was recently spotted on a few certification platforms. This smartphone is being speculated to be the Galaxy M42 5G. This upcoming smartphone was recently spotted on India’s BIS platform as well, hinting at its launch in the country. Now, the support page of the Galaxy M42 5G has gone live on the Samsung India website. Additionally, key Samsung Galaxy M42 5G specs have been spotted on Geekbench.

As you can see in the image above, Samsung has listed the support page of SM-M426B/DS on its official website for India. This model number, as I mentioned earlier, is being related to the Galaxy M42 5G. Unfortunately, the page does not reveal any specifications of the smartphone.

Since the support page of the smartphone has gone live on the brand’s official website for India, the Galaxy M42 5G could launch in the Indian market very soon. However, the brand is yet to announce the Galaxy M42 5G India launch date.

The model has been spotted on the Geekbench website by MySmartPrice. The listing reveals the phone comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset (codenamed lito), 4GB RAM, and Android 11 OS.

The 3C certification of the Galaxy M42 5G reveals that the phone has a 6,000mAh battery. And that is the only confirmed specification of the device we have so far. According to a few reports, the Galaxy M42 5G will come with a 64MP primary camera at the rear and 128GB of internal storage. Rumor has it that the specifications of the Galaxy M42 5G will be similar to that of the Galaxy A42 5G that was launched recently.

The Galaxy A42 5G features a 6.6-inch HD+ AMOLED display. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750 5G SoC. The phone is available in 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB options. The smartphone has 48MP primary + 8MP ultrawide + 5MP macro + 5MP depth cameras at the rear. The front camera is a 20MP unit. The Galaxy A42 5G has a 5,000mAh battery, 15W charging, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
