February is coming to an end with some significant smartphone launches from brands such as Xiaomi, Honor, iQOO, and more. March is also expected to be an eventful month for smartphone enthusiasts, with several mid-range smartphones launching this month. The likes of Xiaomi 14, Vivo V30 series, Nothing Phone (2a), and more are confirmed to launch this month. Continue reading to find out about the top phones launching in March 2024.

Nothing Phone (2a)

Launch date: March 5th, 2024.

Nothing has officially announced that the Phone (2a) will launch on March 5th 2024, in a teaser video.  

Expected price: The Nothing Phone (2a) is tipped to cost around Rs 30,000 in India.

• Display: The Nothing Phone (2a) could feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
• Processor: The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC is confirmed to power the Nothing Phone (2a). 
• RAM and Storage: The smartphone could come with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. 
• Rear cameras: The dual-camera setup could include a 50MP primary camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens at the back
• Front camera: For selfies and video calls, the phone could come with a 32MP front camera.
• Software: The Nothing Phone (2a) is likely to operate on NothingOS 2.5, based on Android 14.
• Battery, charging: A 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support is likely to fuel the smartphone.

Xiaomi 14

Launch date: March 7th, 2024.

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi 14 will launch on March 7th 2024, in India. The smartphone has already launched globally at the MWC 2024. 

Expected price: The Xiaomi 14 is priced at EUR 999 (around Rs 89,700) globally. The Indian price is expected to be slightly lower, around Rs 80,000. For reference, the Xiaomi 13 Pro launched for Rs 79,999 in India.

• Display: The Xiaomi 14 comes with a 6.36-inch 1.5K C8 LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits max brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

Vivo V30 series

Launch date: March 7th, 2024.

The Vivo V30 series is confirmed to launch on March 4th 2024, in India. The date was confirmed through a microsite on Flipkart, which revealed the details.

The iQOO Z9 5G is confirmed to launch on March 12th 2024. The company has revealed that the upcoming iQOO Z9 will be available on Amazon for purchase in India.

Expected price: The smartphone is tipped to be priced between Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000 in India.

Realme 12 series

Launch date: March 6th, 2024.
The upcoming Realme launch will introduce two devices to the Indian market, the Realme 12 5G and the Realme 12+ 5G. Realme has confirmed the official launch date of the series to be March 6th, 2024.

Samsung Galaxy A55 5G

Launch date: March 11th, 2024 (expected).

The Galaxy A55 is tipped to launch on March 11th 2024, in Germany. There is also a live product page for the smartphone on Samsung's website. 

Expected price: Since the Galaxy A54 5G launched for Rs 35,999 in India, it is likely the Galaxy A55 will launch at a similar price.

• Display: The Samsung Galaxy A55 could feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
• Chipset: The Exynos 1480 SoC with an AMD GPU is likely to power the smartphone. 
• RAM/storage: The device could feature up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage options. A recent leak revealed there will be a 12GB RAM option as well.
