“Vivo is currently clearing out the stock of the Vivo V15 series in India as per our sources”
Vivo V15 series will be discontinued in the Indian market, 91mobiles has learnt from offline retail sources. The company is currently clearing out stock of the Vivo V15 and its Pro sibling in the country, add our sources. Vivo in February launched the Pro model, followed by its affordable sibling a month later. Notably, both are among the Chinese tech giant’s highly successful products in the country. The Vivo V15 Pro is a mid-range offering with a pop-up selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Its budget sibling also sports an elevating selfie shooter, but has a physical fingerprint sensor placed on the back.
Update: Vivo on July 23rd made the following statement, “The speculation suggesting the discontinuation of Vivo V15 and V15 Pro from the Indian market are not true and the production of both the devices will continue at our manufacturing facility.”

Talking about the discontinuation, our sources have mentioned that some company executives have informed them that the brand has stopped the production of the Vivo V15 series in the country. These phones will only be available to buy in the offline stores until stocks last. They could be up for sale in stores till the launch of the Vivo S1, which is all set to be released on August 15th in the country, as we exclusively reported earlier. The Vivo V15 will be replaced by the upcoming new S series model in the sub-Rs 20,000 segment.
As of now, there’s no information which phone will be replacing the Vivo V15 Pro, which is a sub-Rs 30,000 offering. However, we recently reported that Vivo is planning to release its iQOO series of phones in India, which will be available starting around Rs 30,000. So it’s quite possible that the brand could replace the Vivo V15 Pro with an iQOO smartphone.
The Vivo V15 is currently available in India in a single variant that costs Rs 19,990. As for the Vivo V15 Pro, it is being offered in two RAM and storage configurations – 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. The former is available for Rs 26,990, while the latter will set you back by Rs 29,990.
