Vivo V15 price in India permanently slashed by Rs 2,000

You can now get into Vivo’s latest V15 series smartphones at a starting price of Rs 21,990. The phonemaker has announced a price cut of Rs 2,000 on the standard variant of the Vivo V15 (first impression). The handset was initially launched at Rs 23,990 for the lone 6GB RAM and 64GB user-expandable storage variant. It can now be purchased at Rs 21,990 on both online and offline stores and interested buyers can choose between Royal Blue, Black, and Red colour options.

To recall, the Vivo V15 is a younger sibling of the V15 Pro (review) model. The handset has a pop-up selfie camera, which helps it achieve a screen-to-body ratio of over 90 percent. The phone flaunts a 6.53-inch Ultra FullView display with 19.5:9, full-HD+ resolution, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The V15 is driven by MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core mobile platform paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 256GB by adding a microSD card.

For photography, the V15 rocks a 12-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.78 sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary shooter with f/2.2, and a 5-megapixel f/2.4 third shooter at the back and a 32-megapixel pop-up selfie camera with Samsung ISOCELL GD1 sensor and f/2.0 aperture on the front. The phone is powered by a beefy 4,00mAh battery with dual-engine fast-charging support. Other features include Funtouch OS 9 on top Android 9.0 Pie, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock tech, and connectivity options such as 4G LTE, dual SIM slots, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, and GPS/GLONASS.
