Vivo X Flip's launch date seems to be nearing as the phone has now appeared on 3C, which reveals its fast charging support.
The Vivo X Flip foldable smartphone wearing the V2256A model number has been spotted listed on the 3C certification website. This new development confirms the provision of 44W fast charging support. The charge rating 11VDC 4A which indicates the device to compatible with Vivo's Flashcharge 2.0 adapter. While the battery capacity details are still unknown, earlier rumours indicate the presence of a 4,400mAh battery. This could equip the Vivo X Flip with one of the biggest batteries and fastest charging rates found in a foldable smartphone currently. The closest match can be found in the OPPO Find N2 Flip foldable smartphone which comes with a 4,300mAh battery and 44W fast charging support.
The Vivo X Flip foldable smartphone is expected to boast of a foldable 6.8-inch 120Hz main display (21:9 aspect ratio) with an FHD+ resolution. A secondary display on the top lid with an HD resolution is also expected. The optics department is rumoured to be benefitted from the presence of a 50MP Sony IMX866 main and a 12MP IMX663 ultra-wide. These cameras could be tuned by Zeiss. On the inside, a hole punch cutout will accommodate the front camera sensor. Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC from Qualcomm paired with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device is expected to get a side-mounted fingerprint reader accommodated onto the power button.
