Vivo Y30 was announced in Malaysia back in May as a mid-range smartphone with specifications like the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. The Vivo Y30 India launch was earlier speculated to happen in June, but it now seems that the phone will make make its debut in the country in July. Offline retailer Mahesh Telecom has tweeted about the Vivo Y30 price in India for the 4GB RAM model along with a poster that reveals some bank offers. The poster shows off a punch-hole design on the front to accommodate the selfie camera, and a gradient finish on the back that includes a quad-camera setup.

The Vivo Y30 sports a 6.47-inch Ultra-O HD+ display with 1560 x 720 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and punch-hole cutout to house the selfie camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 512GB. It runs on Android 10 with Funtouch OS custom skin on top. The Vivo Y30 measures 162.04 x 74.46 x 9.11mm and weighs 197 grams.
As for the cameras, the Vivo Y30 features a quad-camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP sensor. For selfies and video chats, it has an 8MP snapper in the punch-hole. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone houses a 5,000mAh battery with no fast-charging support in tow. Connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS.
