The quad camera system on the OnePlus Nord will include a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture and OIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle, a 5MP depth sensor, and a macro sensor for close-up shots, the company has revealed in a forum post. The company has also confirmed that the Nord will sport a 32MP main selfie camera accompanied by an ultra wide-angle lens with a 105-degree field of view.

OnePlus says that the Sony IMX586 was an easy choice as the company has been working with the sensor for a while now and has developed a range of software enhancements to make the most out of the camera. The OnePlus Nord is also the first OnePlus phone to come with dual selfie cameras. “We decided to introduce this additional sensor as a response to feedback from our fans and participants in our Open Ears Forum,” OnePlus said.
As for everything else, the OnePlus Nord is confirmed to come with a Fluid AMOLED display and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. It is said to pack up to 12GB RAM and 128GB storage that may not be further expandable. It is likely to run on Android 10 OS with OxygenOS on top. The phone should have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The phone will pack a 4115mAh battery and is expected to support 30W fast charging. Connectivity features may include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB Type-C port. OnePlus Nord will have a glass back with the vertical camera setup.
