Aadhaar card, issued by UIDAI, has become one of the most important ID proofs for Indian residents. It is also a preferred KYC document if you’re going to open an account at any of the public or private sector banks. If you’re already an account holder, you can still link the Aadhaar with your bank account. All banks offer this facility through either offline mode or online mode or both. Those who prefer the offline way or don’t have access to the net can visit their respective bank’s branch or nearest ATM to link their Aadhaar and bank account. However, if you wish to avail the service without stepping out, you can do it online.
