Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra could be a huge upgrade

  • The leak from Alvin claims the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra’s camera processing is more realistic compared to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The company will control the sharpening and saturation more properly.
  • He, however, says this might change in the final software.

  • As rumoured earlier, AI will be the biggest upgrade this year. The phone is expected to have on-device generative AI and this could be called ‘Galaxy AI’.
  • The tech is rumoured to allow the phone to perform tasks like composing emails and translating messages. 
  • Similar to the iPhone 15 Pro, the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s frame will reportedly be made of titanium, as reported earlier.
  • There will also be a Titanium Grey and the leak claims this looks better than the Natural Titanium iPhone 15 Pro.’
  • Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is tipped to be comfortable to hold in hands despite having flat edges. In comparison, the Galaxy S23 Ultra features slightly curved panels.

  • Display: Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra might sport a 6.8-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and there could be support for Dolby Vision.
  • Cameras: The flagship could feature quad-cameras, with a 200MP ISOCELL HP25X primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 50MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
  • The phone could house a 12MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
  • Processor: The handset should be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and there won’t be any Exynos 2400 version.
  • OS: The handset is likely to run on Android 14 OS based on OneUI 6.0 custom skin out of the box.
  • Connectivity: 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
  • Battery, charging: There could be a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
