Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus get temporary Rs 1,750 price cut in India

HMD Global’s Nokia 5.1 Plus (review) and Nokia 6.1 Plus (review) smartphones were launched in India back in 2018 at Rs 10,999 and Rs 15,999, respectively for the base variants. Thanks to numerous sales on various e-commerce platforms, the phones are currently available at a slightly discounted price. Now, to sweeten the deal even further, HMD Global is running a limited time offer on both the handsets on Nokia India website. Interested users can claim a Rs 1,750 discount by applying “DEAL1750” promo code.

This brings the effective price of Nokia 5.1 Plus 3GB RAM variant down to Rs 8,849 from its usual Rs 10,599 price tag. Similarly, the Nokia 6.1 Plus 4GB option sets you back by Rs 13,749. However, it should be noted the discount is only applicable on base variants of both the phones. Additionally, Airtel users get an extra Rs 2,000 cashback in the form of Rs 50 cashback per month for 40 months on recharges of Rs 199, Rs 249, and Rs 448. Furthermore, Airtel users also get 240GB data in the form of 20GB data packets on every recharge for a year.

Nokia 5.1 Plus and 6.1 Plus specifications

To recall the specifications, Nokia 5.1 Plus sports a 5.86-inch HD+ display with a standard notch and is powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 12nm processor with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The phone is offered in three variants – 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB, and 6GB + 64GB. The storage is further expandable up to 400GB through microSD card. It rocks dual rear camera setup consisting of a 16MP primary sensor with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP secondary monochrome shooter. On the front, it has a 16MP snapper for selfies and video calls. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security and packs a 3,000mAh battery with fast-charge support.
