The Nokia Phones Fan Festival sale, which previously ended on May 13th, is back again. HMD Global, the license holder to make and sell Nokia phones, has restarted the sale in India. The company is offering its mid-range Nokia 8.1 smartphone, along with Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, and Nokia 8 Sirocco with up to Rs 6,000 discount. The sale, available only through the brand’s official website, will continue through Friday, May 24th.
The Nokia India official website highlights that the Nokia 8.1 4GB RAM variant is available with flat Rs 6,000 discount. The offer can be availed using promo code “FAN6000”. The 6GB variant of the handset is also available on sale, but customers can only avail a discount worth Rs 4,000 using “FAN4000” promo code. The Nokia 8.1 was announced in India last year with a price tag of Rs 26,999 and Rs 29,999 for the 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB storage variants respectively. During the sale, the phone will be available at a starting price of Rs 20,999.
Apart from this, the Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, and Nokia 8 Sirocco smartphones have received Rs 1,000 discount each. The customers have to use promo code “FANFESTIVAL” while making the purchase to avail the offer. The Nokia 7.1, following a price cut last month, comes with a MOP of Rs 17,999, while the Nokia 6.1 Plus is available at a starting price of Rs 15,499. The Nokia 8 Sirroco, meanwhile, price in India is set at Rs 36,999.
In related news, Nokia recently refreshed its affordable Nokia 4.2 (review) smartphone in India. The handset was originally announced at MWC 2019 earlier this year. The phone comes with a 5.71-inch display, is powered by the Snapdragon 439 SoC, and runs on Android 9.0 Pie under the Android One program out of the box.
