91mobiles has learned the aforementioned information from a HMD Global distribution partner in the country. So it’s likely the phone will be up for grabs at some point next month, if indeed it launches in India within July. It’s worth mentioning that the company teased the Nokia 9 PureView’s India launch in March too, but it got delayed. Notably, a HMD Global executive recently said that the flagship’s India launch is being delayed as the brand intends to “serve the market with what is relevant to the market”. Lately, the company’s focus in the country has been on budget-oriented models such as the Nokia 4.2, Nokia 3.2, and Nokia 2.2, among others.

To recall, the Nokia 9 PureView flagship is the world’s first smartphone to flaunt a five camera setup at the rear, with two 12MP RGB shooters and three 12MP monochrome sensors. The phone has a 5.99-inch pOLED display with QHD+ resolution and HDR10 support, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The Nokia 9 PureView price in India will, of course, be the major draw for all the fans as the smartphone offers a highly rated camera setup but also features last year’s Snapdragon 845 processor. Therefore, HMD Global will have to maintain a fine balance while pricing the upcoming flagship. A report in the past suggested the handset will be offered in the country at Rs 46,999. We will update you more on this matter as soon as the brand officially announces anything.
