A recent leak had revealed complete OnePlus Nord CE 5G specifications. It is said to sport a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC paired with Adreno 619 GPU. The phone will be available in two models: 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB versions (as confirmed by an Amazon listing). It is likely to boot Android 11-based OxygenOS custom skin out of the box. Connectivity options could include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
As for cameras, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G is said to feature triple cameras at the back, with a 64MP OmniVision sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth unit. It is tipped to pack a 16MP on the front for selfies and video chats. As said, the phone will measure 7.9mm thick and it's quite possible the phone may have a polycarbonate build to keep the pricing low. The phone will pack a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support.
While the exact pricing isn't clear, considering the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G and Xiaomi Mi 10i cost under Rs 25,000, we can expect the Nord CE 5G price to be on similar lines. The phone will go on open sale on June 16th.
