OnePlus might soon enter the wireless earbuds market, with the company's first wireless earbuds said to allow users to "listen without the cords in your way." Unfortunately, noted tipster Max J, who has leaked the teaser image, hasn't revealed any further details about the OnePlus truly wireless earbuds and it is unclear if the product is ready to launch or still in the development stage. As for the design, OnePlus might adopt a cordless version of its Bullets wireless earphones. This means they should use silicon ear tips, thereby offering a more comfortable grip and better fit.
Furthermore, the design should also offer better noise cancellation, although the complete features set remains a mystery for now. Since there's still enough time for the launch, we might come across more details in the coming days.
Separately, the OnePlus 8 series is also said to be in the development in the first half of 2020. The series is tipped to include OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Lite - the latter will be a new, low-cost entrant to the series. 91mobiles exclusively released the OnePlus 8 Lite renders and 360-degree video recently. This revealed a flat display with a punch-hole cutout at the centre and a rectangular rear camera module with dual sensors. The renders also show a Type-C port on the bottom. Sadly, there no 3.5mm headphone jack in sight. OnePlus 8 Lite could measure 159.2 x 74 x 8.6mm and get a low-cost 7-series chipset with 5G support.
As for the OnePlus 8 series, both the standard model and its Pro sibling are likely to ship with the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC with 5G connectivity. While the OnePlus 8 packs a punch-hole display to accommodate a single camera setup, the Pro is said to get a pill-shaped punch-hole at the top left corner for dual selfie cameras.
