"The POCO X2 priced in India is in the same ballpark as the Realme X2's"
POCO X2 (review) has been launched in India as the brand's first offering since 2018. The handset – a rebranded version of the Redmi K30 4G model launched in China – runs parallel against Realme X2 (review) as it comes with almost similar specifications and price tag. Both POCO X2 and Realme X2 rock Snapdragon 730G chipset, 64MP quad rear cameras, Full-HD+ display, and more. We've compared the specifications and the prices of the two smartphones against each other to help you make an informed decision.

On the design front, both POCO X2 and Realme X2 come with gradient finish design and all-display fascia. The POCO X2, however, has a higher screen-to-body thanks to its punch-hole display. The phone sports a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ LCD panel, which is slightly curved towards the edges and sports 120Hz refresh rate. The refresh rate is the highest you can get in this price segment and ensures that you get smoother scrolling and much better animations compared to the average 60Hz refresh rate panel. The POCO X2 screen also features an elongated punch-hole, just like the one on Galaxy S10+, at the top right corner that houses dual front cameras.
The rear panel of the POCO X2 sports a circular camera module that has as many as four sensors vertically aligned in the middle. The right spine of the phone sports a volume rocker and power button-cum-fingerprint-scanner. The SIM-ejector tray is on the left spine, while the bottom edge has got a headphone jack, speaker grille, and USB Type-C port.
The Realme X2, meanwhile, is equipped with a standard 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with 60Hz refresh rate and waterdrop notch for a selfie camera atop. The display houses an in-display fingerprint scanner and offers picture quality of Full-HD+ resolution. The phone's rear panel sports a vertically-aligned quad-camera setup at the top left corner. The power button and volume rocker are placed on either spine of the Realme X2, while audio jack, speaker grille, and charging port are at the bottom edge.
Both POCO X2 and Realme X2 are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G octa-core chipset. It's a gaming-centric SoC with Adreno 618 GPU and 2.2GHz clock speed. "Snapdragon 730G SoC brings select Snapdragon Elite Gaming features and an additional 15 percent graphics boost over the standard Snapdragon 730 SoC for a more powerful gaming experience," per Qualcomm.
The chipset is paired with three RAM and storage configuration on POCO X2: 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. The storage is further expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card. Software-wise, the phone boots the latest Android 10-based MIUI 11 out of the box.
The Realme X2, on the other hand, comes with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant for the base model. It's slightly higher variant features 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, while the top-end option rocks 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The storage is user expandable up to 256GB in all variants. The Realme X2 comes pre-loaded with Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6, which is upgradable to Realme UI atop Android 10 via OTA update.
The POCO X2 is the first smartphone in India with 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor. The sensor is placed along with 8MP super wide-angle, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensors in the quad-camera setup at the back. For selfies and video chats, the phone uses a 20MP + 2MP shooters on the front. The cameras are backed by features such as Mimoji, Super Night Scene Mode, RAW format support, and other AI-backed features.
As for Realme X2, it has got a quad-rear camera setup comprising of 64MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor. This is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The cameras are backed by a LED flash and some camera features, including live video bokeh and night mode. The phone's front camera features a 32MP snapper for selfies and video calling.
The POCO X2 is fueled by a 4,500mAh battery, which is backed by 27W fast-charging support. The phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security, while it packs dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C, IR Blaster, and 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity.
Coming to the Realme X2, it houses a 4,000mAh battery with slightly faster 30W Super VOOC support. The phone, as stated above, has an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. In terms of security, the handset ships with dual SIM slots, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Type-C port for charging.
The POCO X2 price in India starts at Rs 15,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The phone's 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage options, meanwhile, are priced at Rs 16,999 and Rs 19,999, respectively. The handset will be available in Atlantis Blue, Matrix Purple, and Phoenix Red colour options from February 11th at 12pm only via Flipkart.
The Realme X2 is also Flipkart exclusive. It has been priced at Rs 16,999 for 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage costs Rs 18,999. The phone's 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant comes with a sticker price of Rs 19,999. The Realme X2 is available for sale on Flipkart and realme.com in Pearl Green, Pearl White, and Pearl Blue hues.
