The Redmi Max TV 86-inch model price in China is set at CNY 7,999 (approx Rs 90,000). To recall, the 98-inch model was launched at CNY 19,999 (approx Rs 2,15,200). There is no word yet on whether Xiaomi plans to launch the Redmi Max TV in India.
The Redmi MAX TV 86-inch TV comes with a massive 86-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels (4K). It has a refresh rate of 120Hz and covers 92% of the DCI-P3 colour spectrum. Xiaomi has thrown in a MEMC chip too, which will allow for dynamic upscaling of content from SD to HD, variable refresh rate functionality, and more.
The Redmi TV interfaces with devices via HDMI 2.1, allowing users to get a full and unfettered 4K 120Hz experience from supported devices. HDMI eARC support is included too, allowing for better management of connected devices. The Redmi MAX TV 86-inch runs MIUI for TV out of the box and supports its in-house assistant, XiaoAI.
Other Redmi MAX TV 86-inch specs include support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, H.265, H.264, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD, and more. The TV is powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A73 processor, Mali-G52 MC1 GPU, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. Only one of its three HDMI ports is HDMI 2.1. Other input options include two USB ports, one S/PDIF port, and one ethernet jack. There are two in-built speakers with a rated output of 12.5W each.
