Last week, Samsung confirmed the launch of several Galaxy A series phones in the first half of 2019 - starting from March. Since then, the Galaxy A50 has been spotted more than once, including FCC certification, an official support page, renders, and specs leak. Now, the Galaxy A30 has surfaced on Samsung's website support page section. The Galaxy A30 is listed there with model number SM-A305F/DS ('DS' stands for dual SIM), which — if you recall — has been spotted in previous leaks including Geekbench.
The Galaxy A30 has been tipped to be among the nine Galaxy A series smartphones that'll make their debut this year. It'll be most likely be affordable offering with an Infinity U display. Going by the previous leak, the phone will reportedly feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It's likely to rock either Exynos 7885 (as spotted on Geekbench) or Exynos 7904 (according to alleged specs sheet), paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage that'll be user expandable.
In the camera department, the Galaxy A30 is expected to come with dual 16-megapixel (f/1.9) + 5-megapixel (f/2.2) rear cameras and 16-megapixel (f/1.9) snapper on the front for selfies. The cameras are said to be backed by pixel merging, background blur, scene optimiser, flaw detection, smart beauty, selfie focus, AR stickers, and pro lighting mode. A custom Android 9 Pie will handle the software side of things on Galaxy A30. The entire setup would be run by a whopping 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
Samsung is yet to reveal which will its first Galaxy A series 2019 smartphone in India, but it seems Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 are the front-runners. The company aims to price them aggressively between Rs 10,000 - Rs 50,000 in the country.
