Samsung Galaxy A20, Galaxy A30 prices slashed temporarily up to Rs 1,500 in offline stores

Samsung has announced a temporary price cut on two of its latest Galaxy A series smartphones, the Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A30 (review), in India. The chaebol is offering the handsets with up to Rs 1,500 discount, retail sources have informed 91mobiles. That means the Galaxy A30, which was launched at Rs 16,990, can be purchased for Rs 15,490 with the offer. The Galaxy A20, on the other hand, will set you back to Rs 11,490 instead of its initial price of Rs 12,490. The scheme is for Samsung’s offline retail partners, which will eventually be passed on the end-customers. The offer is valid until May 15th.

Separately, Samsung’s budget smartphone the Galaxy M20 (review) has also received a price drop of Rs 1,000 as part of the upcoming Amazon Summer Sale, which is all set to start from May 3rd 12 noon onwards for Prime members and May 4th for non-Prime users. Interested users can purchase the handset at a starting price of Rs 9,990 that’ll go up to Rs 11,990 for the high-end 4GB RAM option. Customers can also avail no-cost EMI option of up to six months and get 10 percent instant discount on SBI Bank cards on purchasing the Galaxy M20.

For those unaware, the Galaxy A20 features a 6.4-inch Infinity V display with HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The handset is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7884 chipset, accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB user-expandable storage. The phone also rocks a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel sensors at the back and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. It’s powered by a 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging and boots Android 9 Pie-based One UI out of the box. There’s a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel of the device.

Other features include 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel setup on the rear, 16-megapixel shooter on the front, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and Exynos 7904 octa-core chipset mated with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage.
