Samsung has permanently slashed the price of its mid-range Galaxy A70s in India. The smartphone, which was launched lat year with a 64MP triple cameras and Snapdragon 675 SoC, is now available for as low as Rs 26,999 – a reduction of Rs 2,000 from its previous MOP, 91mobiles has learned from retail sources. This is the new price for the 6GB RAM base variant. The top-end 8GB RAM variant is down to Rs 28,999 from Rs 30,999. The Samsung Galaxy A70s is available with the said price via both offline and online retail stores across the country. The phone comes in Prism Crush Red, Prism Crush Black, and Prism Crush White hues.
The Samsung Galaxy A70s, to recall, comes pre-loaded with Samsung's One UI atop the Android 9 Pie. The handset sports a 6.7-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It's powered by Snapdragon 675 SoC paired with 6GB / 8GB of RAM and 128GB user-expandable storage (up to 512GB). In optics, the Galaxy A70s features triple rear cameras with 64MP f/1.8 lens primary sensor, 5MP depth sensor, and 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens accompanied by an LED flash. The cameras come with Night mode, 123-degree viewing angle, Live Focus, and ability to shoot videos at 4K Ultra HD.
The front camera of the phone gets a 32MP unit with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. The Galaxy A70s houses a 4,500mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. Other features include Dolby Atmos to provide a 360-degree surround sound experience and connectivity options such as dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and audio jack.
