Samsung Galaxy Buds+ are expected to launch alongside the Galaxy S11/ S20 flagship lineup in February, with their design surfacing via the SmartThings app recently. Now, reliable industry sources have shared a clear render of the Galaxy Buds+ with 91mobiles, revealing the design of the true wireless earphones ahead of launch. The render shows that the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ will look quite similar to the original Galaxy Buds in terms of the design of the earbuds as well as the charging case. The most notable change is the addition of a Sky Blue colour option for the Galaxy Buds+, in addition to White and Black. Based on past rumours, the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ will come with active noise cancellation to take on the recently-launched Apple AirPods Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Buds+ render provided to us show us a familiar earbud and case design. The buds will be small with silicone ear-tips to offer a good seal. We also see the glossy triangular surface area, which will be touch-sensitive to control music playback, answer calls and activate voice assistant. According to the render, Samsung Galaxy Buds+ will come in black, white, and blue colour options.
The Galaxy Buds+ charging case sticks to the same pill-shaped design. Like the previous Galaxy Buds case, the new one should also support wireless charging and charging over Type-C port. One difference we do notice is what looks like physical L (left) and R (right) buttons below the LED indicator, perhaps to help show the battery charging status of each bud.
Samsung Galaxy Buds+ are expected to come with improved sound quality. Previous rumours suggest the earbuds will bring active noise cancellation, which also suggests they could cost more than the regular Galaxy Buds. We should know more about the Galaxy Buds+ as we approach Samsung's Unpacked event in February.
