“The Samsung Galaxy M30s live images also show the cutouts for a fingerprint sensor on the back and the USB Type-C port at the bottom”
Samsung Galaxy M30s is the next mid-range smartphone the South Korean brand has in the pipeline, with pre-production tests already started at the company’s Noida plant. Now, 91mobiles has received exclusive Samsung Galaxy M30s live images from a trusted source. The live images give us our first look at the upcoming affordable smartphone from Samsung and are in line with the previous leaks and rumours. The Galaxy M30s seems to have the same polycarbonate back with a glossy finish and oblong cut-out for a fingerprint scanner as its sibling, the M30.
Interestingly, the rear camera module on the Galaxy M30s is slightly wider and smaller compared to that of the M30 smartphone. Considering the cut-out size on the Galaxy M30s, we speculate that it could come with a dual-camera setup instead of triple. At the bottom, it will have the speaker grille, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom. Moreover, the phone will arrive in at least two colour options, Blue and Black.
Samsung Galaxy M30s specifications
Coming to the specifications, the Galaxy M30s will reportedly come with an octa-core 1.74GHz Exynos 9610 SoC. The chipset is slightly better than the Galaxy M30’s 1.8GHz Exynos 7904 octa-core mobile platform. Moreover, the upcoming smartphone is expected to come equipped with 4GB of RAM and run Android 9 Pie-based Samsung One UI custom OS out-of-the-box. Other specifications are not known at the moment, but the handset is speculated to come with an Infinity-V display and slightly better camera setup compared to the regular Galaxy M30 smartphone. That’s all the information we have at the moment. While Samsung is yet to confirm it, the Galaxy M30s expected to launch in next month, i.e. in August, in India.
