Samsung Galaxy S11/ S20 is scheduled to be unveiled on February 11th, and the series will have more than just a single variant, including the Galaxy S11e/ S20e and S11 Plus/ S20 Plus. It was initially reported that the Galaxy S11/ S20 models would feature 120Hz refresh rate and a QuadHD+ display. However, noted tipster Ice Universe now claims that Samsung may cancel its plan to offer the 120Hz feature and would retain the traditional 60Hz panel. The tipster says that 2K 120Hz display option did exist, but Samsung seems to have blocked it in the latest test version.
The correct way is to keep 120Hz and 60Hz for users to choose, but it forcibly cancels 120Hz. I think this is disrespect to consumers, which makes me very disappointed.

Furthermore, Samsung has reportedly suspended some essential camera functions of the S20 Ultra. However, we don't know what those features are precisely and given the vagueness of the tweet from Ice Universe, it's hard to speculate at this moment. Either way, with the launch just over a month from now, Samsung seems to be doing some final minutes changes to the product. On the flip side, given that Samsung's plans are not finalised yet, there's a possibility we might still see 120Hz refresh rate in the final product.
Talking about the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S11/ S20 series are expected to rock a curved Dynamic AMOLED screen with a centre-positioned punch-hole display to accommodate the selfie camera, an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and HDR 10+ support. They are said to be powered by the Exynos 990/ Snapdragon 865 SoC with 5G, up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB onboard storage. The top-end model in the series is tipped to feature a new 108MP primary sensor, 8K video recording support and 48MP telephoto lens 5x optical zoom. They're likely to run on the latest Android 10-based One UI 2.0. The standard Samsung Galaxy S11/ S20 is said to pack a 4,500mAh battery, while the larger Galaxy S11/ S20 Plus is tipped to have a larger 5,000mAh unit.
