Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro have launched in India after debuting globally earlier this month. The phones succeed the Vivo X70 series. They come with the V1+ custom chip that is claimed to offer better low light shooting even in an environment with brightness lower than 1Lux. It supports XDR Photo high dynamic range as well. The phones come with AG glass and leatherback models with an IP68 rating (on the X80 Pro). The Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro come with 80W wired fast charging support, while the Vivo X80 Pro has 50W wireless charging as well.

The Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro sport the same 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, but the Vivo X80 Pro has a QHD+ resolution. The vanilla model is powered by the Dimensity 9000 chipset, while the Vivo X80 Pro comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset on board.

Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro price in India, sale date

Vivo X80 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs 54,999, while the 12GB + 256GB model of the Vivo X80 costs Rs 59,999. The Vivo X80 Pro costs Rs 79,999 for the high-end 12GB + 256GB version. The latter comes in Cosmic Black colours while the X80 also comes in Urban Blue colour options.

The phones will be available for pre-booking starting today and on sale starting May 25 via Flipkart, Vivo e-store and retail stores. There is a discount of upto Rs 7,000 on HDFC Bank cards, besides a 10 percent cashback on pre-booking on certain cards. Vivo X80 and X80 Pro are available at Vijay Sales retail stores and online as well.

The Vivo X80 sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ E5 AMOLED display with 2400×1800 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, a 1,000nits brightness and MEMC. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor paired with Mali-G710 10-core GPU. It packs 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone boots Android 12 OS with Funtouch 12 custom skin out of the box.

Vivo X80 houses a triple camera setup on the back, including a 50MP Sony IMX866 primary sensor with OIS support, f/1.75 aperture, LED flash, a 12MP Sony IMX663 ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP 50mm telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom support. It has a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls on the front.

The phone packs a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. Connectivity features include 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS+GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The phone ships with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor paired with Adreno GPU for graphics. It packs 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone boots Android 12 with Funtouch 12 custom skin out of the box.
