Xiaomi has quietly added a new device to its power banks portfolio in India with the launch of the 10,000 Mi Power Bank Pro in the country. Launched in China recently, the accessory will be available in India during the company’s Diwali sale between October 17th to 19th.
As for the specs, the Xiaomi Mi Power Bank Pro sports two-way charging, meaning it can output power from a USB Type-C connector and can be charged from a USB Type-C connector. The device comes with a cable that has USB Type-C connector on one end and a micro-USB connector on the other. The slim 12.58mm power bank flaunts an aluminium body. Like the other Xiaomi power banks, this one also offers nine layers of circuit chip protection that takes care of issues like over voltage, over charging, high temperatures, and short circuits.
Xiaomi claims the 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank Pro offers up to 93 percent conversion rate. It is capable of fully charging a 3,000mAh Android smartphone 2.5 times, an iPhone 6 four times, and an iPad Mini 1.5 times. The power bank is rated to go from zero percent charge to full in three hours and 50 minutes. The device also has support for safe charging for low power devices like the Mi Band and Mi Bluetooth headset.
Similar to the brand’s previous power banks, the 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank Pro has also been priced competitively at Rs 1,999.
