“Leaked images suggest that the Pixel 3 XL could have a model with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage”
Multiple reports suggest that Google is expected to introduce the Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, and possibly a cheaper Pixel 3 smartphone later this year, likely in October. Ahead of the unveiling, XDA Developers has leaked a handful of purported live images of the Google Pixel 3 XL, which reveal the handset’s design from all angles. In addition, the photos have revealed a couple of specs of the upcoming Pixel smartphone as well.
The leaked images indicate that the Google Pixel 3 XL could sport a notch above the screen, like the recently launched various smartphones. The notch appears to house a selfie shooter, the earpiece, and the other sensors. The handset’s side bezels appear to be non-existent, while there will be a slim chin with a speaker grille.
Talking about the back, the Pixel 3 XL’s alleged photos indicate that the phone could sport a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. A single primary camera setup is also seen on the back, which could disappoint those expecting the phone to flaunt a dual camera setup. It’s worth noting that Google’s camera software is best-in-class, as evident by the earlier Pixel offerings. It looks like the Pixel 3 XL may come with a metal and glass sandwich back panel.
As for the other details, the Google Pixel 3 XL’s photos suggest that on the top, there will be a microphone, on the right side, there will be the power key and volume rocker. At the bottom, there appears to be a USB Type-C charging port and a SIM card tray.
Lastly, the leaked images indicate that one of the variants of the Google Pixel 3 XL could arrive with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. As per earlier reports, the next-gen Pixel smartphones will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. We expect the rumour mill to reveal more details about the upcoming Google phones, so stay tuned.
