Jio Phone 5G launch appears to be inching close.
The Geekbench listing of the alleged Jio Phone 5G reveals some key specifications. Firstly, the device has managed to score 549 points in the single-core round and 1661 in the multi-core segment.
Jio 5G Geekbench listing shows the phone will come with 4GB RAM, but there could be other options at launch. Android 12 will takes care of the software side of things. The motherboard section mentions 'Holi', which could be associated with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC. The chipset is aimed at budget smartphones priced around Rs 12,000. The SoC will be paired with Adreno 619 GPU. That's pretty much everything revealed via the Geekbench listing.
Jio Phone 5G specifications have been revealed as firmware. According to it, the phone is expected to sport a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The handset is said to pack a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The Jio Phone 5G is expected to come with a Syntiant NDP115 always-on AI processor onboard. The 4GB RAM will be paired with at least 32GB storage.
Moving to optics, the Jio Phone 5G will come with an 8MP front camera for selfies and video chats. On the back, the phone will have dual cameras, with a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP macro lens. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 5.1. The phone is likely to boot Android 12-based PragatiOS custom skin out of the box with GMS Services and the Jio suite of apps.
