OPPO Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro 5G smartphones will be launching on December 26th in China. Now, ahead of the launch, both the phones are listed on the OPPO official website where interested users can reserve the products. We spotted the listing last week as well, but only a few details were revealed at the time. The website has now revealed official press images of the Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro 5G phones along with key specifications as reservations for the devices have been opened ahead of launch. While the Reno 3 Pro has a punch-hole display, the standard Reno 3 packs a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie snapper and both the phones have quad-camera setup at the back. The Pro model has a curved display with ultra-slim bezels on all corners, and it certainly looks much-premium in the renders.
As for the specifications, the Reno 3 Pro will be available in 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB storage configurations. The power button is present on the right spine, while the volume rockers are on the right. The main earpiece seems to be placed within the top frame. On the other hand, the vanilla Reno 3 also comes in 8GB + 128GB storage and another with 12GB RAM and the same 128GB storage. While the button placement is the same, it has a sizeable bezel beneath the screen. Both the phones pack a 4,025mAh battery that might come with fast-charging support.
OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G is confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC with 5G connectivity and flaunt a 6.5-inch OLED full HD+ display with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. On the other hand, the standard Reno 3 is said to ship with a MediaTek Dimensity 1000L SoC and will also have 5G connectivity support. As for the pricing, the OPPO Reno 3 5G is expected to start at RMB 3,199 (around Rs 32,000) for the 8GB + 128GB variant, and RMB 3,599 (around Rs 36,000) for the 12GB variant. The Reno 3 Pro 5G is said to be priced at RMB 3,699 (around Rs 38,000) for 8GB + 128GB and RMB 4,199 (around Rs 43,000) for 12GB + 256GB model.
