The leaks seem to have been sourced from POCO X5 5G's marketing materials. It reveals that the device will most likely feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Other display features that the device is expected to offer include 1200 nits of brightness and a 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut. The phone is tipped to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. The leaks suggest that the device will pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
In terms of optics, the phone is expected to offer a triple-rear camera setup with a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. It is also expected to offer a 13MP camera at the front.
The tipster also notes that the marketing materials were initially in a "non-english" language and were translated using Google translate. When asked about the availability of the vanilla POCO X5 in India, Ambhore replied that the phone will launch in Europe. The Indian launch of the phone is doubtful as the POCO only launched the POCO X4 Pro 5G in India.
Even on the official Indian website, the company is only promoting the POCO X5 Pro, which seems to suggest that this will be the only device to launch in India. The company has confirmed that a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC will power the phone. Ambhore's leaks build upon that by suggesting that the device will get a triple-rear camera setup with a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. The device is expected to offer a 16MP front camera. Other leaked features include support for 67W fast charging.
