Realme 12 Pro series is set to launch in India later this month. The lineup will include two models: the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+. These will succeed the Realme 11 Pro lineup. Going by the teasers and leaks so far, the phones are set to bring some very notable improvements, especially to the camera department. This is also the first numbered series from Realme to come with a telephoto sensor.

Realme 12 Pro series is set to launch in India on January 29th at 12 noon IST. The lineup, as said, will include the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+. Both models would come with 5G network support.
Realme 12 Pro series price in India (tipped)
While the complete pricing details are currently under wraps, the Realme 12 Pro+ alleged retail box reveals the phone will have an MRP of Rs 34,999 for the 8GB and 128GB variant. However, the actual cost could be slightly low, probably around Rs 30,000.
The standard Realme 12 Pro could be placed below the Realme 12 Pro+, probably between Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000.
Realme 12 Pro series design
- The Realme 12 Pro series will come with a curved display on the front with narrow bezels and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper.
- The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge.
- The USB Type-C port, SIM tray section, primary microphone and speaker vents are at the bottom edge.
- Flipping the phone to the back, you are greeted with a large circular camera module to house triple camera sensors and an LED flash.
- The phone will feature a leather finish on the back and there is a metallic strap in the middle.
- The Realme 12 Pro series can be seen in Blue and Cream colour options.
Realme 12 Pro series certifications and benchmarks
The Realme 12 Pro series has appeared on multiple certification platforms.
The Realme 12 Pro has bagged China’s 3C certification and this revealed the phone would come with 67W fast charging support. The phone was also spotted on TENAA and MIIT certifications and the listing revealed some key specifications and the design through renders. The TRDA certifications of the Realme 12 Pro confirmed the marketing name of the phone and there will be 5G network support.
Realme 12 Pro Plus has also received the FCC, TUV, and NBTC certifications. The FCC and TUV listings confirm the phone will ship with a 4880mAh battery and 67W fast charging support. Again, the Pro+ model will also run on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 custom skin out of the box. The handset is likely to measure 171.61mm x 74.16mm x 174.00mm.
Geekbench
The Realme 12 Pro Indian variant has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. This revealed the phone would come with Android 14 OS and 8GB RAM but there could be other options at launch. The phone has secured scored 898 points in the single-core test and 2,759 points in the multi-core test.
Realme 12 Pro+ was also spotted on Geekbench and this showed the phone would come with Android 14 OS, 12GB RAM and Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. The phone has managed to score 1,025 points in single-core and 2,915 points in multi-core tests.
Realme 12 Pro series specifications (expected)
- Display: The Realme 12 Pro series is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 2,412×1,080 pixel resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
- Processor: The Realme 12 Pro+ is tipped to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, paired with an Adreno GPU for graphics. The standard Pro is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.
- RAM and storage: The phones could pack up to 16GB RAM and probably IP to 1TB storage option. There could be memory expansion support as well.
- Realme 12 Pro+ cameras: The Realme 12 Pro+ could come with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera, a 64MP secondary lens, and an 8MP camera. There could be a 32MP front camera.
- Realme 12 Pro cameras: The standard Realme 12 Pro might house a 50MP primary camera, a 32MP secondary lens, and an 8MP sensor. There could be a 16MP front camera for selfies.
- Battery: There could be a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
