Realme 8 series is expected to include three models: a 4G-only vanilla Realme 8, Realme 8 Pro 4G, and a 5G variant of the Pro model. The India launch date of the phones was recently tipped to be March 25th. The Realme 8 Pro is confirmed to pack quad-cameras at the back with 108MP primary sensor, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and Blue colour option. Now, Twitter user Gadgetsdata (Debayan Roy) claims the Realme 8 series India date is March 24th, which is a day before the initially said date. Though we can’t come to a conclusion regarding the Realme 8 series launch date based on these leaks, we can say for certain the phones are set to debut in the country later this month. Additionally, the leakster says both Realme 8 and the Pro model will feature an AMOLED display.

Separately, Realme India head Madhav Sheth has teased the illuminating colour option ahead of the launch. The image shows the phone’s rear-panel in Black colour while the camera-module and ‘Dare to Leap’ logo are seen in glowing-green colour. We can also see the ‘108MP quad-camera’ etched on the camera-housing, which suggests we might be looking at Realme 8 Pro. This could be a special limited edition model that will be joining the regular colour options.

Realme 8 series specifications
The vanilla Realme 8 could come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, while the Realme 8 Pro 4G model is expected to come with Snapdragon 732G SoC. The 5G variant may ship with Snapdragon 750G SoC or a MediaTek chipset. As said, both the models will have an AMOLED display, paired with a high-refresh rate. Realme 8 is said to come with 4GB/ 8GB RAM coupled with 128GB storage. The Realme 8 Pro will get 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and a similar amount of storage. Realme 8 is said to be available in two colours, namely Cyber Silver and Cyber Black, while the Realme 8 Pro may come with Infinite Black, Infinite Blue, and Illuminating Yellow options.

The FCC listing suggests the Realme 8 Pro would pack a 4,500mAh cell, while the Realme 8 may have a 5,000mAh unit, according to TENAA. Moving to optics, the Realme 8 Pro is confirmed to have 108MP primary camera, while the vanilla Realme 8 could have either 64MP or 48MP primary camera.
