Realme X, Realme 5 Pro Android 10-based Realme UI update released

Realme 5 Pro and Realme X smartphones are finally receiving the Android 10-based Realme UI update in India. While the former has an RMX1971EX_11_C.01 version number, the latter is receiving the RMX1901EX_11_C.01 update file. Both the updates weigh in at 3.51GB size. The Android 10 update brings Realme UI that offers a cleaner, redesigned interface. Realme claims that it is visually more attractive and operates more efficiently. The update optimises the Smart Sidebar and replaced File Console with File Manager. You can now drag an app out of the smart sidebar to open it in split-screen mode. It brings Assistive Ball Opacity and Hide Assistive Ball on the fullscreen app options.

The update brings three-finger screenshot gesture, optimised all gestures that support in landscape mode and quick settings, added Focus Mode, new charging animation and pause feature for screen recording. New sounds added for file deletion, calculator key touches and compass pointer. Users can now view the memory of recent tasks and locked apps. The Android 10 update to Realme 5 Pro and Realme X optimised the visual interaction for Game Space, and also the loading animation for Game Space.

The Android 10 update brings new live and artistic wallpapers, added option to open global search or the notification panel when swiping down on the home screen. It introduces the trim feature in recordings, adaptive animations in Weather, dynamic ringtones that automatically adapts to the current Weather. Users can find an optimised camera, Timer, Album UI. Realme 5 Pro and Realme X now support file sharing with OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi devices. It added dual-mode music share in Realme lab. The Android 10 update to Realme 5 Pro and Realme X is staged, meaning it is pushed to random users at the moment but will have a broader rollout in a few days once it's certified as bug-free.
