Redmi Note 8T smartphone has hit the rumour mill once again. This time the alleged renders, along with a couple of specifications of the phone, has been leaked online. For starters, the Redmi Note 8T will look a lot like its sibling Redmi Note 8, which was recently launched in India alongside the Pro model with 64MP camera. The rear panel of the phone is expected to have quad-camera setup, vertically-aligned at the top left corner, and centre-aligned fingerprint scanner. The gradient finish on the Note 8T is a bit different than the Redmi Note 8 model, as seen from the image shared by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore.

Furthermore, the specifications of the Redmi Note 8T are also expected to be the same as the regular Note 8. This means that the phone will have Snapdragon 665 SoC ticking at its core instead of Snapdragon 730G as was previously reported. The handset, however, is rumoured to be the first smartphone in the lineup to come with NFC support. That's all the information we can divulge at the moment.
The Redmi Note 8, meanwhile, ships with 48-megapixel primary sapper paired with 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors at the back. The front camera gets a 13-megapixel selfie shooter, accommodated on the Dot notch atop a 6.39-inch full-HD+ screen. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 665 mobile platform, and paired with a 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The phone boots MIUI 10 on top of Android 9 Pie out of the box and offer connectivity options such as dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, and more.
The Redmi Note 8 price in India starts at Rs 9,999 for the base 4GB + 64GB variant, while the 6GB + 128GB option costs Rs 12,999. The handset is available in Neptune Blue, Moonlight White, Space Black, and Cosmic Purple hues.
