Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro with 8GB RAM spotted on Geekbench, could be rebranded Redmi K20 Pro

Xiaomi is scheduled to unveil the Mi 9T series smartphones on June 12th. A couple of days ago the regular Mi 9T spotted on Geekbench confirming it is a rebranded Redmi K20 as they both share similar internals and model number. Now, days ahead of the launch, the high-end Mi 9T Pro passed by Geekbench too, confirming that it indeed could be the rebadged Redmi K20 Pro for global markets. The Mi 9T is likely to run on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 skin on top and come equipped with 8GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the Mi 9T managed to score 3,453 points in the single-core test and 10,363 in the multi-core. As per the listing, the handset has codename "raphael," which is the same as that of Redmi K20 Pro, which was launched last month in China. This means the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor could power the phone and the rest of the specifications might remain the same as well. Either way, we should know more details in less than a week.

As for the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is likely to sport a 6.39-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with notch-less design and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC with Adreno 640 GPU taking care of graphics. It is likely to boot Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 skin on top with Game Turbo 2.0 mode. As for the optics, the Mi 9T Pro is expected to flaunt triple camera setup at the rear comprising a 48MP f/1.7 primary snapper, a 13MP f/2.4 secondary shooter, and an 8MP telephoto f/2.4 sensor. On the front, there is a 20MP f/2.0 camera for selfies and video chats. The handset also comes with Hi-Res Audio and DC Dimming features.
