YU Yureka S and Yunique Plus listed on official website for Rs 12,999 and Rs 6,499 respectively

Micromax subsidiary YU Televentures is all set to announce new additions to its smartphone arsenal in the form of the Yunique Plus and Yureka S, which are upgrades to their respective siblings. The smartphones were spotted on company’s website, however there aren’t any details about their availability.

YU-YUREKA-S

As per the specifications, the YU Yureka S flaunts a 5.2-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 615 SoC along with 3GB RAM and comes with 16GB storage on board. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and sports a hybrid dual-SIM slot with 4G capabilities. For the optics, there is a 13MP rear camera with a LED flash along with a 5MP selfie camera. Fuelling the handset is a 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone is priced at Rs 12,999.

YU-YUNIQUE-PLUS

On the other hand, the 4.7-inch YU Yunique Plus sports a 720p resolution. It comes powered by a Snapdragon 410 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM. There’s 8GB of internal memory that can be expanded further with a microSD card. The Yunique Plus gets an 8MP / 2MP camera combination on the back and front respectively. The dual-SIM device draws juice from a 2,000mAh battery and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. Priced at Rs 6,499, the handset will be available in black colour and is expected to go on sale in the coming weeks.
