OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro OxygenOS 12 update pulled officially after users complain of bugs

It is believed that majority of the issues are coming after switching from OxygenOS to ColorOS codebase.

Highlights

Earlier this week, OnePlus officially rolled out its first stable Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 update for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. The latest OxygenOS update, for the first time, is based on ColorOS codes, and the company plans to do the same for all of its upcoming smartphones in 2022. The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro are also the first smartphones, to have been upgraded from traditional OxygenOS to this new OPPO-flavoured operating system. However, users who updated their 9-series phones to the new version of the software reported several issues and bugs from the new iteration. As a result, the company has now pulled the OxygenOS 12 update for the OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9.
