FAUG becomes top free game on Google Play Store, downloads cross 5 million in a day

It is clear that nCore Games bit off more than it could chew with FAU-G. For starters, the game launched with practically no content, except for a campaign mode that takes three hours to beat. To make matters worse, the game has no guns with combat being restricted to melee-only. A hastily-developed game is bound to come with its share of bugs, and FAUG is no different. An eagle-eyed Twitter user discovered that he could skip most fights in the game by simply running away from enemies.

nCore Games says that 5v5 Team Deathmatch, Battle Royale, and other game modes will come to FAUG at a later date, with no launch timeline specified. However, one has to commend the developers for keeping the game's microtransactions non-predatory by offering only cosmetic upgrades for the game's in-game items. The game is little more than a proof of concept at this point, and it'll take several massive upgrades before FAU-G can even be considered a PUBG replacement.
