Vivo sub-brand iQOO is gearing up to make its India debut next week. The first-ever smartphone by the company, the iQOO 3, will launch in India on February 25th. While the iQOO 3 India launch is still around a week away, 91mobiles has been able to find out some of the key details surrounding the device. Notably, the iQOO 3 will be launched in India both in a 5G as well as 4G configurations. Both variants of the smartphone will be sold online via Flipkart as well as offline retail stores. As for the prices, the 4G variant of the iQOO 3 will be priced around Rs 35,000, while its 5G counterpart will cost around Rs 40,000. However, the iQOO 3 5G price in India can go up to Rs 45,000.
Speaking of the specifications, the iQOO 3 5G will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, which will be paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage. The device will flaunt a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a tall 20:9 aspect ratio. It will be among the 5G-capable smartphones in India.
In the camera department, both the 4G and 5G variants of iQOO 3 will sport an array of four cameras at the back; the 5G variant could likely be headlined by a 48MP sensor. The front camera of the device is being speculated to be a 16-megapixel selfie snapper and the same will find itself sitting underneath a punch-hole. A 4,440mAh battery will keep the iQOO 3 5G running. The battery of the device will have provision for up to 55W fast-charging.
The iQOO 3 5G smartphone was spotted on the AnTuTu benchmarking website a little while ago, where it has topped the charts by a considerable margin. The device has even beaten the previous best AnTuTu score, that of the Realme X50 Pro 5G smartphone. Incidentally, the Realme X50 Pro 5G launch is slated for February 24th, which will give it the title of the first-ever 5G smartphone in India.
