The Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition launch date is set for April 27th.

Redmi has announced on the Chinese social media platform, Weibo, that the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition is coming with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. It is the same chipset that does its duty in the recently launched Realme GT Neo, which is slated to make its way to the Indian shores soon.
The MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC was unveiled in January this year. The chipset is built on a 6nm fabrication process. It has 1x Cortex-A78 CPU core clocked at up to 3GHz, 3x Cortex-A78 CPU cores clocked at up to 2.6GHz, 4x Cortex-A55 CPU cores clocked at up to 2GHz, and the Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.
The teaser images of the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition that were posted by the company on Weibo yesterday show that the phone will have a triple-camera setup at the rear with laser autofocus, and a display with a punch-hole mounted to the top-center portion of the screen. The teaser images also reveal that the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition will have buttons on the right-hand side of the device that will act as game triggers.
The Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition was recently certified through 3C, which revealed that the phone will have 67W fast charging and 5G connectivity. According to reports online, the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition will have an AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 64MP primary camera at the back.
